THE YEAR IS 3525

Earth is uninhabitable.

Humankind is no more.

But technology remains.

Every mind has been extracted and stored within liquid-state drive megacities by The Sleepwell Initiative. They promise to produce a robotic body for every consciousness—but installing each mind is a slow process. Using their patented software, HypnOS, robotic shells lie in slumber as they dream back their memories, longing to awaken. 

But something’s wrong. Bots are becoming corrupted by malicious code and turning hostile, while The Sleepwell Initiative remains silent. You are one of the last uncorrupted bots. To save the minds that remain, you must harness HypnOS and fight the threat from within the dreams. Collect upgrade chips to increase your power—and put an end to the virus.

CONTROLS

Use A and D to move, W to jump (You can double jump!)

Arrow keys to attack in the direction you choose.

Space to block and stun your enemies.

E to access the HypnOS Chamber once all enemies are defeated.

OBJECTIVE

Fight your way through various Sleepwell Initiative data skyscrapers. Once you've defeated the enemies, interface with HypnOS and defeat the stronger virus inside. Collect batteries from defeated enemies to heal and upgrade chips at the end of each stage. Once the virus has been cleared, exit through the rightmost elevator.

This game is a little janky and definitely unpolished, but a lot of effort was put in to some of the systems and assets! There are definitely some bugs and a very unpolished UI. If I can I would love to update the published build with some fixes and tweaks. Sound on, recommended.
